Binge watch travel shows. Cable TV and On-Demand channels provide a plethora of travel shows that can make one seem like they are traveling the world while in their living room. Watching such shows can inspire one to plan the next trip. While it may not happen anytime soon, looking at options, discovering travel destinations, and saving up for the trip can scratch the itch to travel. Jessica Leonard.

Read books that are set in faraway places and subscribe to travel blogs that can expand one’s perspective on traveling. Reading is a way for one to teleport and travel through time. If spending more time on social media, follow travel accounts and get inspired to discover the world when the world is cleared from the harsh virus. For the next trip, don’t let language become a barrier. Learn a foreign language while stuck at home. Jessica Leonard.

Cook recipes from around the world. Excite the palate by getting a taste of the dishes one would try once traveling gets the green light. Join a network of travelers to have buddies to share travel dreams and woes, too. The sense of community during these times is incredibly important. Jessica Leonard.
